Unlike a jack hammer that can cause secondary damage through vibration, water has the ability to remove media without the vibration throughout a structure and not cause the damage that is also known as micro cracking. The process provides an outstanding bonding surface for repair media and doesn't damage existing reinforcing steel within the structure. Hydro demolition removes damaged concrete from around anchorages, shear connectors and any other underlying fixture that may require replacement or repair.
